The Zi6 is Kodak’s entry into the pocket HD camcorder realm. It outputs at 60fps HD 720p video which will even stand up on your HD home television. The unit itself is slightly thicker than the Flip MinoHD. The Zi6 has the leg up on the MinoHD though with a replacable battery & up to 32GB expansion for the SD memory.

The Flip MinoHD is the smallest of the bunch, weighing in at a tiny 3.3 ounces. The unit itself is stupid simple to use, the red button in the middle pretty much starts, stops & pauses video recording. The main downside to the Flip MinoHD unit is the size of the screen, this seems to make it harder to shoot video steadily & also see what you’re filming. Other than that the unit is solid & the video output it nothing short of beautiful.

From our tests however the Flip MinoHD seems to have the leg up in terms of video quality.
